How do I uninstall conflicting versions of VNC?

Datto RMM installs and uses UltraVNC (UVNC) when using the VNC functionality within the Agent Browser. If another version of VNC is installed on a device, it can cause problems such as VNC instances conflicting with one another.

You can either uninstall the conflicting versions manually by using the viewer's included uninstaller or by running the Remove existing VNC installations and reinstall uVNC ComStore component to automate the process. The Comstore component will remove viewers such as RealVNC, TightVNC or another instance of UVNC, and reinstalls only the UVNC service Datto RMM will use.
