Datto RMM 13.4.0 release notes
Schedule*
IMPORTANT The Datto RMM 13.4.0 release updated the logic for the license over-usage banner in the New UI to include Kaseya 365 licenses. This inadvertently caused the banner to display Ransomware Detection licenses where it hadn't previously. We're in the process of reverting this change and apologize for any inconvenience.

About the release
The 13.4.0 release is the eighth of our twelve monthly releases planned for 2024. Please see below for the highlights, along with the full list of fixes and improvements. As always, we look forward to your feedback as we continue to improve the product every single month.
Microsoft 365 Integration
Editing existing user details
Datto RMM administrators are now able to update any existing Entra ID users with new phone numbers, names, email aliases, and other fields.
This capability saves you time by minimizing navigation between multiple interfaces and removing any requirements for explicit access to the Entra ID portal.
Refer to Editing a Microsoft 365 user in Datto RMM in Microsoft 365 user management.
View Results link added for user and email search
From the global search bar, search functionality for Microsoft 365 user display names and emails now behaves similarly to other search types, including the option to view full search results via the View Results link.
Filtering, sorting, and CSV export on the All Tenants page
The list of tenants on the All Tenants page now features the following:
- Improved pagination.
- Support for filtering and sorting multiple tenant names.
- The option to export the filtered tenant list to a CSV file.
BMS Integrated Service Ticketing
The integration between Datto RMM and Kaseya BMS enables automated device alert management directly within a technician's standard ticketing system. This integration consolidates ticket-related tasks and automatically closes BMS tickets when an alert is resolved in Datto RMM. Refer to Kaseya BMS Integration.
API webhooks facilitate efficient alert information transfer to BMS, ensuring a cohesive and responsive system for handling alerts and tickets.
IMPORTANT Only one webhook ticketing integration can be enabled at a time. Global webhooks must be disabled before the BMS Integration can be enabled.
Microsoft Teams webhook changes
Microsoft will soon retire the Office 365 Connector feature used in the Microsoft Teams webhook template. For details, refer to Retirement of Office 365 connectors within Microsoft Teams.
A newly available webhook template can be used as is or as a starting point to build a custom payload.
NOTE You'll want to update any existing Microsoft Teams webhook payloads to the new format to prevent interruptions in usage.
API filtering parameters
Additional query parameters have been added to the API, enabling the filtering of potentially large responses down to more specific data sets.
The v2/account/devices endpoint can now be filtered by the following:
- Device type
- Hostname
- Operating system
- Site name
The v2/account/sites endpoint can now be filtered by the following:
- Site name
Additions to the ComStore
We release new ComStore components and update existing ones every month. Notable additions this month include the following:
- ESET components: Six new v2 integration components have been made available for ESET software. Because of the number of differences, we have had to deprecate the originals instead of upgrading them, so you will need to migrate manually. Ensure you switch to these new components to preserve your integration to the ESET platform.
- Datto EDR Monitor [WIN]: Until native UAL monitoring is available for Datto EDR, this component provides such functionality by writing a JSON file and sending any necessary alerts.
- WUA JSON Adjustment Tool [WIN]: This component provides a fix for No Data issues (error code: 0x8002802B) on Windows 11 devices when scanning for updates.
NOTE To access a full list of ComStore components, refer to List of ComStore components.

Also, the diagnostic has been updated to capture any standard error output, if available. |
