Your user account - Legacy UI

About
Users with permission to access the Setup > My Info tab can view or manage their own user account.
How to...
In order to edit your user details, you need to have a security level with permission to manage the Setup > My Info section. Refer to Security Level Details - Permissions.
- Navigate to Setup > My Info.
- Click Edit to update the following fields:
Name | Description |
---|---|
Username | The username you use to log in to Datto RMM. Once created, it cannot be edited. |
First name, Last name | Your first and last name. |
Phone | Enter your phone number. Make sure to use a phone number that can receive SMS messages since this number will be used for recovery purposes (when the account is locked out). NOTE Ensure that you use the correct +XX country code format. |
Email address | Your email address. Once created, it cannot be edited. |
Account Name | The name of your organization you set up when you registered, followed by the account ID in parentheses. Note that anyone with permission to manage Setup > My Info will be able to edit the Account Name. |
Account Email | The email address to which you want Datto to send your invoices. |
Address Line 1 / Address Line 2 | Enter your street address. |
City | Enter the name of the city. |
County/State | Enter a county or state, if applicable. |
Postal Code | Enter your zip code or postal code. |
Country |
NOTE The Country field information is taken from the initial setup and is not editable. |
Time Zone |
Select the correct time zone for your entire Datto RMM account. Times and dates will be recorded and displayed using this time zone. The selected time zone will also determine when scheduled jobs and reports run.
IMPORTANT Time zone changes are recorded for the entire Datto RMM account, that is, for you and all other users in the account. NOTE To learn about this option in the New UI, refer to Time zone in Account Settings. Individual users also have the option to select the time zone in which time stamps and dates/times in schedules are displayed in their user accounts in the New UI. Refer to User Time Zone in My Settings. |
- Click Save.
You can change the language of the web interface. Changing the language in your own user account will not affect the language settings of other users. From the drop-down menu, select one of the following languages:
- English
- German
- Spanish
- Hungarian
- French
- Italian
- Portuguese
- Swedish
The page will automatically be refreshed and displayed in the selected language.
The language can also be modified in the New UI. Refer to User Language. However, please note the following:
- If the language is updated in the New UI, the legacy UI will only reflect this change after the next login.
- If the language is updated in the legacy UI, the New UI will reflect this change immediately after a page refresh.
- If you select a language in the legacy UI that is not available in the New UI, the language in the New UI will default to English.
Datto RMM users can be associated with more than one security level. However, when a user logs in, their default security level will be used.
To change your default security level, click the Default security level drop-down list and select a different security level.
You can also change your default security level in the New UI. Refer to Default Security Level.
Click the Datto Portal User Settings button to open the User Settings page in Datto Partner Portal where you can change your password and configure two-factor authentication (2FA). Refer to Managing passwords - Legacy UI and Two-factor authentication - Legacy UI.
