Kaseya 365 will allow you to deliver, manage, and respond to security scenarios via our workflow automations.
If you are not a Kaseya 365 customer yet, learn about what this subscription offers.
If you just purchased Kaseya 365, learn how to get started with each component.
The first time you log in to Datto RMM, you will access the application through the Datto Partner Portal (https://auth.datto.com/login).
If you are the Implementation Contact for a new Kaseya 365 subscription and you don't have any modules accessed through Datto Partner Portal, you can access Datto Partner Portal through your Welcome to Datto Partner Portal email, OR from the Activate link in your KaseyaOne Startup Guide.
Detailed login steps are as follows:
- Access the Partner Portal through your Activate link (365 customers) or your welcome email (standalone customers).
- On the Set Your Password popup window, type a new password and click Save.
- The login page will now open.
- Log in using your Partner Portal credentials provided in KaseyaOne, or your welcome email and the new password you just set.
- If you only have Datto RMM module access, then you will be logged directly into Datto RMM.
If you have more than one Partner Portal module currently, then you will see the account selection page. - If you end up on the Account Selection page, click the Continue button next to the entry entitled datto-rmm-[platform]. The platform will be different depending on where your Datto RMM account was provisioned. For example, typically users in the eastern United States will be on the Concord platform.
NOTE To get the most out of Kaseya 365, it is recommended that you enable KaseyaOne Unified Login for Datto RMM. Refer to Linking Datto RMM to KaseyaOne for details.
Linking Datto RMM to KaseyaOne not only allows you to log in more easily but also helps to automate user creation in Datto RMM. Complete the following steps to enable KaseyaOne Unified Login:
In Datto RMM, navigate to Setup > Integrations > KaseyaOne, and click Turn On. If you are not already logged in to KaseyaOne, you will be prompted to log in. This will register Datto RMM as a single sign-on (SSO) module in your KaseyaOne instance.
With this enabled, existing KaseyaOne users in your account will be able to log in to Datto RMM from KaseyaOne if their email address matches that of an active Datto RMM user. All users in your organization's KaseyaOne account will have the Datto RMM module shortcut added to their KaseyaOne dashboard. Refer to Logging in via KaseyaOne.
NOTE If a user is using KaseyaOne to log in to Datto RMM, and they have multiple user accounts with the same email address, they will be logged in to the username that is first alphabetically. Once they log in, they will be able to change which account they are actively using. Refer to Switch User.
IMPORTANT If you receive an error when enabling Unified Login, or you have more than one KaseyaOne account and the wrong one is linked to Datto RMM, please reach out to Support.
When KaseyaOne Unified Login is enabled, some additional configuration options will become available. Refer to the subsequent sections for details.
With KaseyaOne linked to Datto RMM, you'll have access to all the features of the KaseyaOne Integration.
For more information on how the KaseyaOne Integration can help with user management, refer to Unified Login with KaseyaOne.
Learning and onboarding resources
If you are a new Datto RMM administrator, take the self-paced onboarding to quickly get up to speed.
Self-guided onboarding is available for your Kaseya 365 modules when the first administrator logs in. The onboarding will walk you through each part of the application that needs to be configured for your company to start using the product right away.
A welcome shoutout will appear the first time you log in. If another message appears, you will need to refresh the page to see your welcome shoutout:
You can also access your onboarding any time from the Tasks tab of your onboarding menu. The Tasks tab is available through the help icon:
After you finish (100% complete) all your onboarding tours, the Tasks tab disappears after 90 days. To replay the self-guided tours, go to the Show Me tab of your onboarding menu:
Take our free Kaseya Certified Technician in Kaseya 365 course through Kaseya University (KU).

Optimizing your workflow
Kaseya 365 includes 20 essential automations powered by your Kaseya 365 component integrations. Many of these integrations are facilitated through or include Datto RMM.
The five core automation categories are defined as follows:
- Endpoint Shortcut: Any time a system provides a Web Remote button that can shortcut you directly to the endpoint in question.
- SmartLook: Any time a system provides context-aware information.
- True-Sync: Any time two systems share data or status information that remains accurate in both locations or systems.
- One-Deploy: Any time a system pushes a setup, organization, or configuration item from one place to another.
- SafeCheck: Any time a system automatically rejects, reports, or provides an alert on a potential security issue.
The following table outlines the essential automations you benefit from with Datto RMM.
Automation | Purpose | Value | Learn More |
---|---|---|---|
